Starting from October 1st, 2014, I'm pursuing a PhD at Inria Lille - Nord Europe under Marc Tommasi and Fabio Vitale supervision (in collaboration with Claudio Gentile). In the MAGNET team, I work on signed graphs, more precisely on scalable approach to correlation clustering in an online setting.
Before that, I received a Master of Science (with honours) in
Machine Learning and Data Mining from
Aalto University, Finland. In that time, I had courses on Machine Learning
methods, Neural Networks, Deep Learning, Graph mining and algorithms, Natural
Language Processing, Bioinformatics and Computer Vision and completed
concrete projects (pdf, 13Mb).
I did my Master Thesis under
Prof. Aristides Gionis and Dr. Michael
Mathioudakis supervision. I collected a Foursquare
dataset and mined it to devise similarity measures between neighborhoods. You
can read a two pages summary or
my whole thesis.
I also got a Master of Engineering from École Centrale de Nantes, France. You can find more details in my resume.
My favorite language is Python along with library such as Scipy and scikit-learn. Yet during my studies or my free time, I also used to various extent C, C++, HTML/CSS/javascript, Java, MATLAB/Octave, Haskell, R and Scheme.
Outside Computer Science, I enjoy photography, creative writing (although mostly in French currently) and football.
